Group Germain Hotels celebrates this fall the 30th anniversary of its thriving Le Germain banner. Thirty years ago, the very first Boutique Hotel opened its doors in Canada; it was the innovative Germain-des-Prés Hotel in Quebec City. Since 1988 the banner continues to please a growing number of business and leisure travelers as there are now seven Le Germain Hotels across Canada including Ottawa opened earlier this year. Moreover, in its determination to anticipate its guest’s desires, earlier this year Group Germain Hotels announced an investment of over 20 million dollars for the renovation of the Hotel Le Germain Montreal.
Le Germain celebrates 30 years of incredible encounters. 30 years of giving back to the community. 30 years of meaningful conversations. 30 years of connection and it’s only the beginning. Today, Le Germain looks to the future without ever losing sight of its vision. With this in mind, we are pleased to share with you some initiatives to celebrate these 30 years of success:
Overnight stays at $30.00 in each Le Germain Hotel
Introducing an unprecedented offer: from October 15 to December 15, a few rooms will be offered daily at only $30.00 per night, throughout all Le Germain hotels across Canada.
Sharing of favourites and musts
In thirty years, thousands of recommendations and discoveries have been made. We invite our guests to share their favourites and musts, which will be gathered in an index box in the lobby of each Le Germain hotel. This will become a unique emblem to pique the interest of our guests and encourage them to take advantage of exclusive recommendations. Book sharing
Thirty years, so many stories to tell... With the same desire to share on a more human level, we encourage our guests to leave behind or grab a book that inspires them so that others can also be inspired.
Together at Le Germain cocktail evenings
Thirty years, so many unique encounters. We will invite our guests to five « happy hour » impromptu meetings where they will have a chance to share with a special guest and between themselves on one of the themes of the 30th anniversary.
“The past 30 years have been such an amazing journey, we have had so many meaningful encounters,” says Mrs. Christiane Germain, co-president of Group Germain Hotels. “We are proud to welcome an increasing number of guests in the Le Germain banner as it stands out more and more on the Canadian hotel landscape. We are pleased to celebrate our 30th anniversary with our guests by spoiling them and thank them for their loyalty.” “This success is the result of the efforts of all our personnel,” adds Jean-Yves Germain, co-president of Group Germain Hotels. “Thanks to their dedication and hospitality in all Le Germain hotels across Canada.” About Le Germain Hotels: Pioneer of the boutique hotel concept in Canada, Le Germain believes in the importance of staying small and intimate.
