From May 2014 to December 2015, Normand Provost was Assistant to the President of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (the “Caisse”), one of the largest institutional fund managers in Canada and North America.
Christiane Germain, Co-President
As Co-President of Germain Hôtels, Christiane Germain oversees operations and marketing for all of the group’s properties. Dynamic, tenacious, and inventive, her entrepreneurial qualities have been honoured on several occasions by Canada’s business and tourism communities.
Jean-Yves Germain, Co-President
Jean-Yves is co-president of Germain Hôtels. Trained at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) and gifted with a keen business sense, he oversees development, orchestrates financing and supervises the construction of all hotels.

Michel Verreault, President Verreault Inc.
Holder of a law degree from the Université Laval and a master's degree in construction project management from the University of Waterloo, Michel Verreault joined the family business founded in 1926 by his grandfather, J.E. Verreault et Fils, to apply his new knowledge. In the mid-1980s, he acquired the shares owned by the previous generation, was appointed vice-president and then in 1995, became president of the company.
Bernard Morency, Adjunct Professor, HEC
Bernard Morency is a member of the Board of directors at Université Laval where he chairs the Audit Committee, at Desjardins General Insurance Group where he chairs the Investment Committee, and at the International Centre for Pension Management where he chairs the Pension Education Committee. As a member of these boards, he lends his expertise to strategy, governance, finance and investment issues.
Michel Berthelot, FCPA
Michel Berthelot is a chartered professional accountant and was appointed Fellow (FCPA) in recognition of his distinguished services to the profession. Throughout his career, he has acquired solid experience in business development, private and public financing, as well as strategic planning. Mr. Berthelot continues his involvement in the business community by serving on several audit committees and boards of directors.
