Nicknamed the Paris of the Prairies, Saskatoon certainly has something to charm every visitor. In the fall, nature along the banks of its long river is even more resplendent.
Meewasin Trails
The Meewasin trails are open all year-round but are particularly beautiful in the fall. On foot or by bike, you will find a variety of nature conservation areas, home to no less than 150 species of birds and more than 300 different plant species. On both sides of the Saskatchewan River, the scenery is breathtaking and provides a glimpse of the rich biodiversity of the surrounding area.
Black Box Farm & Distillery
Discover the Black Box Distillery's award-winning gins and liqueurs, crafted according to traditional methods. They proudly grow 90% of the ingredients used in their spirits on their farm. This fall, you can even take part in pumpkin picking and visit their flower field, after tasting their products!
The Night Oven
To enjoy excellent wood-fired pizza, visit The Night Oven, a pizzeria, bakery and pastry shop, right next door. What’s more, the pizza dough, bread and pastries are made with love using organic Saskatchewan flours. You can enjoy these delicacies on-site or in the comfort of your hotel room!
Remai Modern

Until January 23, 2021, don’t miss your chance to visit Postcommodity, an interdisciplinary arts collective, currently comprised of Cristóbal Martínez and Kade L. Twist. They create works of art that personify a shared Indigenous lens and voice, examining aspects of 21st-century life to inspire a uniquely Indigenous futurism. An exceptional opportunity not to be missed!
